Our story began the modern way—on a dating app. What started as a simple swipe turned into something neither of us could have imagined.

Our first date was at Little Woodrow’s. It was easy, comfortable, and full of laughs, but life had its own timing. After that night, we didn’t see each other again for a whole month. Still, something lingered—something worth waiting for.

When we finally went on our second date, axe throwing of all things, everything clicked. What could’ve been just a fun night turned into the moment we realized this was becoming something real. From there, our connection only grew deeper.

Not long after, while we were in San Antonio, the words slipped out for the very first time: “I love you.” It felt natural, honest, and absolutely right.
